The contents of this book are the result of Phil’s consultancies, seminars and workshops over a decade. This means that the content is applied, focused and relevant to specific Australian issues (as well as those arising in other countries).
The major issues confronting businesses seem to be understanding staff and clients, communication, self-motivation, personnel (staff retention/dismissal, discrimination/harassment), time management, dealing with difficult clients/staff, negotiation/persuasion and handling others.
These are some of the topics dealt with in the book. Some strategies to yield improvement are included, but the aim is to encourage every reader to develop his/her own strategies that are specifically designed to work in his/her own unique environment.
